Motion mural - how does it work?
Imagine a hand-painted advertisement that decorates the city by day and comes to life after dark - burning, flooded, or drenched in blood. Motion mural offers all this and more, combining large-scale painting with multimedia projection, including 3D mapping.
The process of designing a motion mural can be simple. Show us the ad you want painted, and we’ll design special effects for it in the form of projections. We’ve already created hundreds of motion effects and displayed dozens of them. We know the ins and outs of this advertising format better than anyone, which is why you can trust us. Designing the motion effect is included in the cost of the advertisement. We recommend paths 1 and 2, but we’ll advise on path 3 as well!

Got a video project? Great. Before the display, calibration is essential. Every projection and mapping must be tailored:
- To the location – buildings have indentations and protrusions, and we know how to fit the image perfectly.
- To the mural – a hand-painted advertisement isn’t a digital print. Our projection is carefully aligned with the artist’s work to ensure the best visual effect. We are artists ourselves, and image quality matters to us.
During the mural display and projection, we continuously monitor the ad’s performance. Our goal is for the advertisement to remain visible and flawless from Day 0 to the last day of the projection.
We also track online presence throughout the campaign. A great benefit for advertisers is that brand audiences and media love sharing the multimedia mural, and we have the stats to prove it!

In practice? Imagine a game controller - it can be your phone. A visitor stands in front of the Motion Mural, scans a QR code, and their phone turns into a gamepad. No login or personal data required. The game is designed to be simple, keeping the player engaged until the very end.
The motion mural effect can also be triggered by a passerby via a physical button on the wall or through a Kinect camera. This way, the passerby becomes part of the campaign rather than a passive observer.
“A notable example of an interactive Motion Mural was the promotional campaign for Pandora at Rondo ONZ in Warsaw in October 2025. By the end of the display, videos of the ad had generated over 4.8 million online views and nearly 64,000 reactions, especially on TikTok. Even after the projection ended, the number of reposts and reactions continues to grow,” notes Diana Przybysz, Head of Innovation Lab at Good Looking.
Dynamic advertising formats are a growing trend, supported by research results. According to the 2022 “Advertising in Public Space” report by Kantar Public, multimedia projection murals are particularly appealing - attracting 71% of Gen Z respondents and 62% of the general population.
